FIRES.
AUCKLAND, February 8. A six-roomed house situated at Disraeli street, Epsom, and owned and occupied by Mr John Woolley, was destroyed by fire this morning, together with the contents, -lie insurances are £6OO on the house and £250 on the contents, both in the United. Estimated loss above insurance, £I2OO. BLENHEIM, February 8. A fire at Mr Don. Rutherford’s Gladstone Station yesterday afternoon destroyed the woolshed and 110 bales of merino wool, valued at over £3500. No details as to insurances (if any) are available. The total loss is well over £4OOO.
