A TRAGIC DISCOVERY. DEATH OF THE REV. FREDERICK WARNER. AUCKLAND, February 8. A tragic discovery was made in one of the rooms beneath the Beresford Street Congregational Church ihis evening, when the body of the Rev. Frederick Warner, formerly pastor of the church, was found after a search which had been in progress since the previous day. The deceased retired at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday, there being nothing to indicate an unusual state of health. On Wednesday morning he was missed. Mr Warner, who was about 60 years of age, was at one time in Sydney. He was then at Newton (Auckland) for six years, and returned to Australia in 1900, and sere id in Melbourne and South Australia. He accepted tho charge at Beresford Street (even or eight years ago, resigning about six months ago.
