A plucky rescue from certain drowning of a young lady of 18 was performed the other day near the Napier baths (reports the Telegraph). The young woman was in difficulties a good way beyond the breakers.. She was seen by Ensign Watkins, of Hastings, who, throwing -off his leap and tunic, plunged in, and, with some difficulty, managed to bring the young woman safely ashoi'e. As the Ensign was the only man on that part of the beach at the moment, it is almost certain that the girl would have drowned, her much younger companions looking on in despair. “NAZOL” is not a mixture or drug, but a penetrating, germ-killing specific which never fails to relieve the worst cold. 60 doses Is 6d.
