C J. LYNDE, MACDONALD COLLEGE, QUE. PROV., CANADA. CORN HUSKING HOOK. The blade of this hook can be easily removed for sharpening or replacement. It springs into a metal holder, which
rests on a leather pad, and is attached to the hand by means of a leather cuff and a thumb strap.—Alfred D. Wagner, Eureka, Kansas.
SILAGE COVER. The triangular sections of this cover are each rolled up on one edge and down on the other. They turn on a pivot bolt
at the centre, and when spread out make an air-tight cover for the silage.—Bert B. Perkins, Monticello, Minn.
PAIL HOLDER. The bearing heads of this holder slide lip and down on the staunchion rods and are clamped in position bv means of set
screws. They hold the curved rod, which in turn holds the pail so firmly that it cannot be displaced by the feeding calves. —Hudson Manufacturing Company, Minneapolis, Minn.
TEAT CUP. This teat cup is made of glass, which enables the operator to see the flow of
milk. It is protected against breakage by the rubber cap at the top, and in one form by an extra rubber ring at the middle.—United Engine Company, Lansing, Mich.
BARRELL. Hie new features of this barrel are: First, the extra head at each end, which fits the chime snugly and protects it
against breakage during shipment: second, the metal straps which add greatly to its strength.—Greif Brothers’ Cooperage Company, Cleveland, Ohio.
WAGGON POLE EXTENSION. It is often desirable to lengthen the pole of a farm implement, particularly when doubling the team and arranging tlie animals four abreast. This device
