EIGHT PERSONS POISONED. THREE DEATHS. OTHERS CRITICALLY ILL. CHRISTCHURCH, February 4. A whole family was admitted to die hospital oil Saturday from North New , Brighton, suffering apparently from -ptomaine-poisoning. They were Michael Cook (dairyman), his wife, and a family of six children, whose a-ges range from 12 years to 19 months. Three have died since admission. They are Kenneth and Amy, twins, aged 19 months, and Maud, aged eight. All the others are in a critical condition.
