Railway freights on flax fibre were discussed at length at a meeting of the Now Zealand Flaxmillers’ Association in Palmerston North (states the Manawatu Daily Times). It was resolved l to point ont. to the authorities concerned that in spite of recent reductions, rates were still unduly high, and were hampering the industry.
