The condition of trout in Lakes Rotorua and Taupo have caused anglers some concern for several years. Mr W. Deans, of Canterbury, reported to the Council of the North Canterbury Acclimisatian .Society that the trout there axe in splendid condition now. He said that trout up to 151 b were taken frequently with the fly. lie saw r no signs of deterioration whatever.
