ADMIRAL DUMARESQ

MANILA, July 12. Admiral Du mar esq is not expected to live for 24 hours. The doctors have given up hope. Only his strong constitution has kept him alive for so long. Admiral Dumaresq, while en route from Australia to Hongkong, developed pneumonia nearing Manila. He was taken off the ship in a stretcher and carried to the military hospital by courtesy of the United States Government. He improved after a week's treatment, and prepared to start for a higher altitude for convalcs cento, when lie relapsed.
