Probable prices of New Zealand produce formed the subject of evidence giye:i by Air Ay. D. Hunt, in the Arbitration Court at Wellington. Mr Hunt was asked by Air T. O. Bishop, representative of the Employers’ Association, if he could giv.e any indication of the tendency of prices of New Zealand products within the next 12 months. He replied that it was more difficult to give an answer concerning the next 12 months than for a longer time ahead. “Tf you take a longer time ahead,” said Mr Hunt, “then I am certain that, everything will fall.” Mr C. Morris, of Otaki, last week killed a pig which had two distinct- hearts. A local butcher, who lias had 20 years’ experience, states that he has never heard of a similar case.
