HON. A. M. MYERS RESICNS.
AUCKLAND, October 3. The Hon. A. M. Myers (member for Auckland East) has forwarded liis resignation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives owing to his doctor’s advice. The effects of injury sustained by a recent fall front a tramear render this course necessary, and, in addition, for personal reasons he must live in London at the end of next year. [Mr Myers was Minister of Finance iu the last Liberal Government, and Minister of Customs in tlie National Ministry.] Mr Clmlm Mackenzie is definitely contesting Auckland East in the Reform title rests.
