ISSUE TO DEMOBILISED. LONDON, August 5. _TLE week the Admiralty has issued to New Zealanders and others the- announcement the 1914 1915 Stars, British War and Victory Medals, are ready for distribution to discharged and demobilised officers and men of the Royal Navy. Roval Marines Royal Navy Reserve, and Royal Naval VoL unteer Reserve, who have received or are entitled to cither the 1914 Star or the 191415 Star, and who surnames commence with Olio of the letters A, E. I, and S. Application is to be made in writing, and addressed to the Accountant-General of the Navy, Medal Branch, Cornwall House. Stamford street, London, 5.1i.1. accompanied by certificate of service, or, if this is not available, by discharge certificate, protection and identity certificate, or sonic other evidence of identity. Loose who served in any other branch of (H.M. Forces during the war should furnish full particulars of such service. Those who have forfeited their medals in consequence of desertion or dismissal with disgrace should not apply. Application may he made on behalf of deceased officers and men whose services qualified for either the 1914 Star or-1914-15 Star, and whose surnames commence with anv of the letters named above. Further announcements will he made from time to lime when it is possible to extend the issue to other letters. It is notified that no action can be taken on any application received out of this order or in respect of any officer or man not entitled to either of the stars.
