MANAWATU SHOW, 1921.
Our Palmerston North correspondent writes: —“Show matters are beginning to quick on, and that feeling- which is inseparable from the preparation for the important function which is to be held on November 2,3, and 4is in the air. The fine grounds and buildings of the association ore in splendid order, and. with the addition of tne commodious horse pavilion now in the course of erection, the association will possess one of the finest, if not the finest, equipped show premises in the Dominion, lne prevailing trade depression does not seem to have any appreciable effect on the enthusiasm of the Show Committee, and the townspeople, so far as the show itself is conaerned. The schedules are now in circulation, and. are, as usual, replete with many good things in the way of prizes. Manawatu Kennel Club schedules will also be ready for distribution in a few days, and dog fanciers wanting these should' ask specially for a dog schedule, as they are issued separately from the general schedule. The secretary’s box is No. 85, Palmerston North, and lie will be pleased to supply any information asked for.”
