HOG RING
The nose-piece here Is attached by means of two rings. It engages roots aaid other obstructions when the hog roots and thereby pulls and twists the rings in such

MUD CHAIN
This chain increases the traction of the wheels, and is so attached that it cannot move along the tyre. It consists of two side chains with two cross chains, and is

TYRE TOOT.
To remove a tyre with this tool, and operator grips it between the jaws, locks the handles by' means of the dog and ratchet, and juries with the end fulcrum lug bearing against the wheel felly. To replace it, he does what he can by hand,

CEMENT SILO
The new feature here is the double tongue and groove at the edges of the cement blocks. This makes a strong joint and one that is air-tight and water-tight. The faces of the blocks are made flat for

TONGUE TRUCK

LICE ON POULTRY
A new, effective, and cheap insecticide for poultry is sodium fleuride. Tt is a white powder which kills all the lice without injury to the bird.
