A novel competition has been added to the programme for the next show of the Tentuka- and Geraldine Agricultural and Pastoral Association (says an exchange), she T. D. Htirnett. IMP. for Temuka. has promised two prizes for the largest and the second largest family m the district, the competitors to go into the ring at the show, and be judged on points of physique as well as on numerical strength. Tito first prize will be £lO and the second £5, the money in each case to go to the mother of the family.
