POSITION IX DUNEDIN. The Mirror of Dunedin has been taking j steps for some time past to relieve married ; men with families who arc unemployed, and ' he makes an appeal to citizens to take practical steps to meet the situation. His ’ Worship says he has at presoni about 100 married men on his list, mostly general labourers and semi-skilled workers, lie lieinstructed the heads of the various muni- j cipal departments to submit reports as to any suitable works available, and when these report •• are to hand further slops will he taken to si art relief works.
