WHELAN.—In affectionate memory of Corporal Percival James Whelan, youngest son of Thomas -and Catherine Whelan, Roxburgh, who was killed on the Somme, September 15, 1916. R.I.P. There is a link that death cannot and sisters. WILLIAMS.—In loving memory of Corporal Hector Edward Goble, 10th Reinforcements, killed in action in the Somme Battle, September 15. 1916, aged 21 years, beloved eldest son of Francis L. Williams, of Wyndham, and grandson of Mrs E. Goble, Philip street, South Dunedin. Also Lancecorporal Arthur Francis Goble, 20th Reinforcements, aged! 21 years, accidentally killed by motor cycle at Invercargill, September 13, 1919, beloved second son of F. L. Williams, Wyndham, and grandson of Mrs E. Goble, Philip street, South Dunedin. Gone from us, hut leaving memories . Death can only take away; Memories that will always linger While upon this earth we stay. mother, and brother Francie, Wyndham, Southland.
