FOUR CALVES DIED 26 Saved after 4 Days’ Right Feeding. Ono of the greatest difficulties the dairyfarmer has t-o contend with is the loss of calves through scours. Many very experienced farmers have found it impossible to overcome this stumbling-block, which make* serious depletions in their young stock every year. The trouble has, however, been surmounted at last, and farm rs need no longer stand helplessly by while their valuable calves languish and die. The experience of Mr Johns proves that calves can be saved. At one time on his farm h? had 30 calves down with scours, and four died. Then lie heard of ‘‘Faterine,” and gave it a trial. What was the result? In four days all his 26 calves had stopped scouring, and in seven there was no sign of colds.
