Mails close at the Chief Dost Office, Dunedin, as under: TO-DAY (TUESDAY), AUGUST 23. For Australian States (per City of Lincoln) at 7 p.m. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24. For Australian States (per North Express) at 7 a.m., to connect with the Makusa at Auckland. Late-fee letters at mail van at 8 a.m. All parcel mails now close at this office twice daily only—viz., noon and 4 p.m. F. J. Chisholm, Chief Postmaster.
