The police stated that the accused wenj, through the form of marriage with a young «- man in Wanganui, and after living with her for iwo weeks left her. Accused was arrested at Wellington where his wife resided. Accused pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for sentence.
