TROUBLE IN CHINA.
FIGHTING IN THE PROVINCES. PEKING, June 26. Advices from Shanghai state that the hostilities have taken a turn favourable to Kwantung. Whilst holding the Kwang-. ssiites in the south-west in the direction of Koelow, the Kwangtungit.es have gained marked success on the west of the river, capturing the fortified towip of Wuchow after a bombardment with aeroplanes. It is stated that the Contoncse are preparing to push their advance towards Kwangsi. Anglo-American gunboats are watching foreign interests on the west of the river. NEW YORK, June 30. Han kow reports a state of mutiny. Chinese troops killed thousands. They fired on refugee trains which were fleeing from the district. AGREEMENT BETWEEN CHINA ANI) JAPAN. PEKING, June 30. It is authentically reported that Japan and China, have reached an agreement that the former shall evacuate Siberia within four months, the latter concedin'? additional fishery, forest, mine, and land concessions.
