Tho emu in ths Timaru Park, which lias led a lonely existence ever since it lost ils mate, had the monotony of its life pleasantly varied last week (states the Timaru Herald), when Mr J. S. Rutherford sent down from Opawa Station, Albury, four other emus —one full-grown bird and a trio of young onea.
