Should the rumours which are flying around London Society prove correct, and the friendship between the Duke of York and Lady Mary Irene Curzon, the pretty daughter by his first wife of Earl Curzon develop into matrimony, the alliance between British Royalty and an American girl, so much desired by many people on both sides of the “herring-pond,” would be realized.
