MR STATHAM’S PARTY.
WELLINGTON, June 30. A special meeting of the National Executive of The Council of the National Progressive and Aloderate Labour Par-iv was held at Wellington. Mr E. Kellett. M.P reported upon the activities of the Dunedin District Council. Tlie lion, general organiser, Mr W. P. Black, who had just returned from Auckland, submitted a report. upon the results achieved in forming a district council there. r Lhe following members were confirmed :Mr G. H. Foster. district president; Mr W. 11. Hart, vice-president; Mr Montagu Pearn, treasurer and secretary; executive—Messrs J. Hardier, A. E. Glover, Clifford Thompson E- N v-uwkwell, Claude Allan, 11. M‘Ken-zie-Smith. Messrs Foster, MTCenzic-Smit-b and Ilart were elected to the National Executive Council a# representatives of the Auckland district. The superannuation scheme of the party was further discussed, and the details were finally confirmed.
