WELLINGTON. June 22. The hearing of evidence in support of the claim for £50(0 damages made by Ethel Kcbcoca Huskisson, widow of William H uskisson, who died in Wellington Hospital on November 24, following a gig and motor oar collision on the Hutt road, against tho drivor of tho motor car, Uuy Leslie Fulton, was continued before Mr Justice Sim and a special jury of 12. The defence was contributory negligence, and that the dooeasod died from the effects of an operation at the hospital. After Huskisson had been admitted to the hospital it was found that tho bones wore not knitting, and it was decided that an operation was cecoseary so that the bones could knit. After the operation Huskisson, who previously showed every indication of recording. succumbed.
