A comparative return in connecti« ti with the Dental Departments at Auckland, Christchurch, anti Wellington hospitals for the year ended AI a roll 31, 1921, was placed before the Wellington Hospital Board. It was shown tliat in each of the centres there was a loss on tho year’s workings. The total expenditure and fees given respectively follow:
Auckland. Expenditure, ±.'1703; fees, ±625. Christchurch. Expenditure, £2183; fees, £IB7O. Wellington.—Expenditure, £1179; fees. £723. The deficits were: -Auckland, £1078; Christchurch. £313: Wellington, £451. ’J here was no denial department provided by tho Otago Hospital Board at Dunedin Hospital, lut the board contiribuied £4OO per annum to ihc Dunedin Dental School.
