PAPER MONEY, as a two-year-old, won the Granby Plate at Newmarket (where the races were held during the last year oi the war), by four lengths from 17 others. He won the Plantation i'late at the Newmarket First July Meeting, carrying Sst; at the Second July Meeting he won the Thurlow Plate, seat ting at even money and carrying Sst 111 b; at the Newmarket Third Extra Meeting he won the Redmere Nursery Plate, carrying 9-r. As a three-year-old he ran second to He in the March Stakes, and was third in the Derby, beating such horses as Sir Douglas, Dominion. The Panther, arid a number of others. After stumbling at Tattenham Corner he led until three furlongs from home, carrying the field along at a great pace in the second fastest time that the race has ever been run. He also won the Midsummer Stakes at Newmarket, and had a walk-over in the Duilingham Plate. Ten mares will be taken at Fifty Guineas each, to including feeding and grazing; groom’s fie. one guinea.
