He won the Plantation i'late at the Newmarket First July Meeting, carrying Sst; at the Second July Meeting he won the Thurlow Plate, seat ting at even money and carrying Sst 111 b; at the Newmarket Third Extra Meeting he won the Redmere Nursery Plate, carrying 9-r. As a three-year-old he ran second to He in the March Stakes, and was third in the Derby, beating such horses as Sir Douglas, Dominion. The Panther, arid a number of others. After stumbling at Tattenham Corner he led until three furlongs from home, carrying the field along at a great pace in the second fastest time that the race has ever been run. He also won the Midsummer Stakes at Newmarket, and had a walk-over in the Duilingham Plate. Ten mares will be taken at Fifty Guineas each, to including feeding and grazing; groom’s fie. one guinea.
