Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under: TODAY (TUESDAY), JUNE 14. For Australian States, South Africa, Egypt, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements. Mediterranean Ports (per North Express), at 10.15 a.m. (to connect with the Riverina at Auckland). I.ate-fee letters at guards van at 11.15 a.m. For United Kingdom, Europe, Pitcairn Island, C. ristobel (per North Express), at 10.15 a.in. (to connect with the Shropshire at AVellington). I.ate-fee letters at guard’s van at 11.15 a.m. WEDNESDAY. JUNE 15. For Australian States, South Africa, Egypt, Ceylon, India. China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Mediterranean Ports (per North Express), at 7 a.m. (to connect with the Manuka at AVellington). I.atefee letters at mail van at 3 a.m. Owing to the withdrawal of the Wahine from the ferry service mails will now close for the North Island on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7 a.m., and on Tin sday. Thursday, and Saturday at 10.30 a.m. Mails from the North Island will arrive at Dunedin, per Second Express, on Wednesdays and Fridays. F. J. Chisholm, Chief Postmaster.
