PROBATIONER NURSES APPOINTED. The Wellington correspondent of the Lyttelton Times states that a very large number of applications were received for the position of probationer nurses, to undergo two years’ training in Wellington in order that they may be qualified to perform simple dental operations on children in primary schools, and that the Public Ser vice Commissioner has appointed 35, whose names arc : S.
