FIRES.
THREE CHILDREN BURNED. ROTORUA. January 21. A fatal fire occurred last night. A house of four rooms was destroyed, and three children, ten, eight, and six years of age, lost their lives. The father, Uita Makuia., is dead, and the mother had married again. A sister, aged 20 years, was in charge. She left tho children in bed. and went to the pictures. Nobody seemed to know that tho children wore inside. One body was found under the bed. The origin of the fire is a mystery. There are no insurances. _
