NEW YORK, January 15. Chinese bankers have granted a loan of 6,000,000 dollars to the Chinese Government for extension of the railways. Tin security given is the revenue of the Peking-Hankow l’ailway, and the interest is 8 per cent. The expenditure of the money and the supply of material will 09 under supervision of the bankers. PEKING, January 19. The Minister of Finance and representatives of the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank, the International Banking Corporation, and the Indo-China and Yokohama Specie Bank have agreed on a 4,000,000 dollar famine loan.
