CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
-X K-VY PLYMOUTH, January 9. On Saturday afternoon John Harris, of New Plymouth, was arrested on a charge of manslaughter arising out of the death of Miss Ruby Coates as the result of a motor collision *here on New Year’s Eve. Miss Coates was in a motor cycle sidecar, and Karris was the driver of the .iotor car which struck the cycle, and at the inquest the verdict was that the collision was due to Barris being on the wrong side of the road. Accused appeared before a J.P., and was remanded on bail.
