The market for oats is still very depressed, at least one sale being recorded during the past few days at 4s a bushel, f.0.b., s.i., Chaff shows an easing tendency, selling at 3>5 10s to £5 15s a ton at country stations. Apart from an inquiry for white clover, the market for seeds is lifeless. The following are the prices paid to farmers at country stations, free of commission, sacks extra, except where otherwise stated:— Milling prices, Tuscan 7s 6d f.0.b.; Hunters, 7s 9d; Pearl, Bs.
