The following is taken from an Ausjralaan exchange as to how to remove the Pood boror: Put 2oz copper sulphate (or Buestone) and 12oz water into an earthen t£ crockery jar, and then add very slowly
loz sidphurio acid. Do not pour the water into the acid, or you will have an accident ; pour' the aoid into the water; stir it with a woode?i stick until all solution has taken place. . Saturate the wood with it>
and it will destroy the borers. More than one application may be necessary to make the mixture penetrate the wood. Do not let the mixture get on the oilcloth, or it will discolour it. ,
