In passng through a tunnel the young man sorewed up enough courage to kiss his oompanion and when the tram emerged from the tunnel the, former, looking very embarrassed and not knowing what to say, blurted out: " That tunnel cost £60,000 to build." " Oh, my dear," said the girl, "it was worth it—every penny!"
