OUTPUT AND PRICE. WELLINGTON, March 12. The Westport Coal Company and the Westport-Stoekton Company have increased the price of coal by 2s 6d per ton for all grades. ... Reports received locally indicate that the output from the West Coast mines from next week onwards will be normal. TRUCKERS REFUSE WORK. AUCKLAND, March 12. Work in the Taupiri "Coal Company's Rotorwaro mine was completely suspended to-day. It is stated that the truckers refused to work because no skip grease was available, notwithstanding +he fact that the mine officials substituted oil. The truckers are reported to have given no explanation to the officials as to why they would not work and by their action in leaving the mine'without inquiry into the circumstances they- rendered other mine workers idle. The normal daily output from the Rotowaro mine is about 300 tons.
