SOLDIERS' BALLOTS.
ROBRO DOWNS AND BEN OHAU. OHRISTCHyBDH, February 25. The ballot to-day anion g discharged soldiers for the Robro Downs and Ben Ohau runs in. the Mackenzie Country resulted as follows: —Area 13,031 acres, H. W.* Scotb (Timaru); area 16,400 acres, D. A. 8, Hughes (Cheviot); 16,320 acres, N. M'Gill (Temiika); 15,189 acres, J. Allan (Fairliei; 13,456 acres, L. Lyford (Ofciritiri. Timaru); 13,151 acres, L M. Cono'lly (Peel Forest). There were over 100 applicants for most of the runs.
