TO THE EDITOU. Sih, —I received the following information from Mr' John M'Kay, an old'miner of over 50 years' residence in N.Z. He states that about 35 years ago influenza was raging in Great Britain, America, and New Zealand, and thousands dying of complaint, that one particular doctor in America (he lorgets the name) treated 2000 cases and not one proved fatal. The peseripion was also used in New Zealand at that time'also during the late epidemic with great success. Mr M'Kay says he has used it himself many years ago. (also recently) on the West Coast and in Southland, and has never known it to fail. I enclose the prescription as Mr M'Kay gave it to me. He wishes to have it maae public for the benefit of humanity.—l am, etc., Humanity. ' Hyde, February 16, 1920. Cure for influenza. —Mistletoe from the Birch tree; 3oz of mistletoe leaves boiled in 1 pint of water for one hour, and bottle. Dose, one teacupful taken warm; if not better in one hour repeat dose. For children, one wineglass full, sweeten if required.
