WELLINGTON WING WHISPERS.
Br Fethu Pan February 27. Dear "Pasquin,"—The Muriel Starr Company is having a very fine return and farewell season at the 'Grand Opera House, playing to big audiences. The season closes next week, and the company returns to Sydney, where it will disband. Miss Starr and Mr Frank Harvey return to America, but first Miss Starr will go on to Melbourne, where she ytrill undergo an operation. It is her intention to take a long holiday in America and England. The Allan Wilkie Company will open in the Opera House on March 6 in a new piece, "The Luck of the Navy." It is now fairly certain that Mr Wilkie will remain in New Zealand for a considerable period, the success which has met.his effort to keep a stock company here having; been very gratifying. Following the "Wilkie Company at the Opera House will be the great picture. "With Captain Scott in the Antarctic. Walter Monk will pilot tho picture through New Zealand. Walter George and his Sunshine Players have none from His Majesty's, and Paul Stanhope's Revue Company has replaced them. Daisy Kennedy, the celebrated violinist, gives two farewell, recitals here —on Saturday and Tuesday. Miss Kennedy returns to Australia next week. Ray Fuller, manager of His Majesty's,
is at present in Christchurch, looking after Fuilors' Opera House, while Mr HeLsden acts for Mr Hamer in Dunedin.
