What is declared to be the longest fence in the world Is that which forms a portion of the boundary between New South Wales and Queensland. It is about 300 miles in length, and was erected at a cost of several thousand pounds. It was not put up to keep out rabbits, but to prevent tick-in-fested cattle straying ■ out of Queensland.
