A BOY KILLED.
CRUSHED BY TELEGRAPH POLE. MASTER/TON, September 23. A distressing- accident occurred at' the junction of. Morrisrn's Bush and tho Featkerston road this afternoon, when a echoolboy named Leslie Munn,- a son of Mr Munn, of Tauhcreniknu, oamo to a frightful end. The lad. v ' was nine years
of age, -was school, and stopped to watch some telegraph linesmen erecting an ironbark pole by means of a
motor derrick. When tho polo was ready to be lowered a hook in tho . derrick snapped, and the whole thing fell with a crash, the pole falling on the boy and' reducing him to pulp. Death was instantaneous.
