Towards the close of the annual meeting of St. Andrew's congregation on the 17th a motion was brought forward on the subject of church union. The hour was too late for any full discussion, and when it became evident that there was considerable differ ence of opinion it was decided to take no immediate vote, but to prepare and issue voting papers to all members of the congregation.
