Travellers passing through Earnscleugh on a recent Tuesday (says the Alexandra paper) '.night have wondered what was up at the school grounds. What looked like a squad of navvies was hard at work with pick and shovel. It was nothing more serious than a "working bee" of the local school committee and teacher hard at it, putting the school grounds into condition. As the result of this day's voluntary labour the school grounds are looking much improved.
