IRISH AFFAIRS.
(By Cable.) LONDON, August 22. The Sirin Fein executive states that tfie Sinn Fein Parliament is issuing a loan to develop industries, pay its own consuls abroad, establish a bank, and enable the Government to purchase untenanted lands. De Valera's mission to America is described as a colossal success. De Valera has been authorised to increase the American loan to Ireland 25,000,000 dollars. August 26. The prospectus of the Sinn Fein internal loan states that the issue will be £250,000, at 5 per cent., payable six months after the Irish Republic has received international recognition and the English have evacuated Ireland. Bondholders may redeem at 5 per cent, within 20 years of the republic's recognition. The loan is to be used for propagating the Irish cause all over the world, establishing a foreign consular service, promoting Irish trade, fostering Irish industries, and generally for national purposes as the Republican Parliaments directs. LONDON, August 26. The American steamer Ashburne left Cork for Rotterdam flying the Sinn Fein flag at. the head and the American flag at the stern.
