In Australia badges are now beinp issued to widows and mothers of deceased members of the Australian Imperial Force and the Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force. The issue of a similar badge in New Zealand has been suggested; but a reporter was informed that it was not intended to arrange for anything in this direction. Soldiers "m due course will receive medals and ribbons, and in the case of deceased members of the Forces, these will bo handed on to the next-of-kin, thus serving the same "purpose as a badge.
