Proctor, Oamaru, at 9 p.m. All Entries and Acceptances must be addressed to the Secretary, or Mr Proctor, and contain money, name, description, age and pedigree of horses, names of owner and trainer, and rider's colours. "The Stewards reserve the right to postpone the times notified in this Race Card for closing the Totalisator, and starting the race, if circumstances in their opinion warrant their doing so." Should the railway restrictions still be in force, the Committee reserve the right to cancel or alter the programme or date of meeting. RULES AND REGULATIONS'. 1. The winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a 101 b penalty, and for every additional race a 7lb penalty. Horses carrying Bst jOlb or half the »bove penalties; or, if the handicapper deeras lit, he may increase the above penalties. 2. The winner of the Waitaki Trot to be penalised 7 seconds. Rule 196.—Every person applying for admission to any course, and every person entering or endeavouring to enter a horse for any race, and every ' person having or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by the Rules, and to be debarred from questioning the action of the Conference, Appeal Judges, Association, Club, Racing Club or body, Committee, ■ Stewards, agents or servants in respect of any such person or horse, ot any person connected therewith, otherwise than is provided for in Part XXX of the Rules. 2a. In both Trots horses will be handicapped by the yards system. 8. One pound Provident l£und must be paid to the New Zealand TMtCing Association on all trotting horses befVfe rumination otherwise a fine of £5 will be imposed. 4.
