Mr M'Clure, Commissioner of Crown Lands, and Mr Ritchie, chairman of the Land Purchase Board, are at present inspecting properties which have been offered to the Government for settlements for re-tiu-ned soldiers. They are inspecting estates in the Manawatu, Eorowhenua, and Rangitikei distriots.
