Matheson, lessee of section 69„ block VI, Kurow (60 acres), applied for a renewal of lease.—Granted at £6 per annum. Mr H. Nind, Leaning Rock district, applied for relief owing to damage done by floods:*—Th*r applicant was granted two sections at Dip Creek, at rentals to be fixed, tho land not being-suitable for soldiers. The secretary of the Alexandra j;,Development Company applied for an extension of the agreement between the Crown and the company for a term of 12 months.—Recommended for approval. Mr Carlton Kain, lessee of runs 170, 170 a, 170 b, 170 c, 170 d, 170 e, and 353 b, area 69,000 acres (Beaumont), applied for a renewal of the lease for a term of 14 years.— Declined. \ Mr N. Newick lessee of small grazing run No. 780, was called upon to show cause why his lease should not be forfeited for a breach of the conditions.—No further action to be taken. Mr John Borrie, on behalf of Waikoikoi residents, applied for a small area of land, being- part of section 49, block X, Glenkenich survey district, for the purpose of erecting a war memorial thereon.—Recommended for approval. The secretary of the Matakanui Peace Hall Committee, applied for a site of about half an acre, being part of section 1, block VII, Lauder S.D., for the erection of a Public Peace Hall.—Recommended for approval. ■ Mr Charles James Morns, the lessee of the adjoining land, applied for a grazing license over tho closed road between sections 12 and 13, block IV, Lower Wanaka S.D.—Approved at 10s per annum. Expire of lease over section I,'■block XV, Blacksfone district, Mr George E~ 0. Roberts.—Ranger O'Neill was .appointed appraiser to fix rent for new lease. Mrs Sarah Elizabeth Hore applied for fire acres of land on the Tailings Reserve in the town of Komako.—Declined.
