WATERSIDE WORKERS.
STOP-WORK MEETING. AUCKLAND, August 14. Tho waterside workers suspended labour for two hours this morning to hear an adl- - by Mr Glover, president of the federation f who dealt with the finding- of the National Disputes Obmrnittee, which nv?& recently at Wellington. The two items made public are the allocation of a day for stop-work_ meetings and the fixing of an annual holiday on a day which coincides with the children's Christmas holiday.
A tender of £15.600 has been accepted for the erection of the new main school at Napier,
