PEACE MEMORIAL.
ACTION AT WAITAKI BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL. _OAMAK.IT, August 12. The Waitaki High Schools' Board decided to contribute £IOOO towards the cost of a memorial hall at the boys' school to commemorate the memory of the old boys who gave their lives in the war, the' oontribution_ to be subject to the approval of the Minister. It is contemplated to raise £IO,OOO for tho purpose, toward) which the staff and_ pupils have already undertaken to provide £IOOO.
