COFFK ESSENCE Flavour HOSPITAL HELPERS' ASSOCIATION. A meeting-et the executive of the Hospital Heloers' Association was held on the 17th, Mr J. O. M'George presiding. It was resolved to take up the association's annual collection, which was postponed owing to the influenza epidemic, on Friday, March 21. The secretary reported that he had received £ll from the Owaka district. —Received with thanks. It was left in the hands of Mr D. H. Hastings to make arrangements to take up a collection at the show. The secretary was instructed to write to the country districts asking that arrangements bo made for takiner up the collection not later than March 14; to write to all stand-holders, asking if they would be able to take charge of a stand on March 21 • to communicate with the city bands asking if they could again arrange to give a concert in the Gardens on March 19. Tt was resolved to orsranise the collection for the Children's Hospital on February 21. Tt was resolved to discuss at the next meeting the question of_ increasing the membershiD of the association. Messrs D. J. Cameron and' Robert Cameron have purchased the old show grounds in Mastertop, and intend handing them over to the Memorial Committee as a memorial to the late Lieutenant Norman Cameron (son of Mr D. J. Cameron), who fell on Gallipoli, and other fellow-soldiers. The price paid for tho grounds was £2500. Tho public is being appealed to for an additional £2500 with which to erect buildings and otherwise equip the grounds.-
